The vision of our Session is to discern God’s call for how we might best be the hands and feet, heart and soul, of Jesus Christ, and how we might lead our congregation to love as God has first loved us.
Rev. Audrey Hartness Reese is our pastor. Her leadership model is one of collaboration and Spirit-directed, and she enjoys sharing leadership responsibilities with our Session. Rev. Audrey and her husband Ash have hearts for local and international missions. They have been to India twice to work with women and children, preventing, intervening, and caring for those caught in the trafficking work force.
Rev. Audrey and Ash enjoy being visible in the community. Audrey serves as a leader in the local Rotary Club, and has been known to show up at a high school sporting event or concert to cheer on our youth.

Mrs. Juanita McMillan is our volunteer organist and choir director. Nita has lead our congregation’s choir faithfully for many years. Nita is also the music teacher at Westminster Elementary School, and loves sharing her passion of music with children and adults alike. While at WPC, Nita has directed dozens of cantatas, introduced our congregation to young musicians, coordinated a string quartet to play during a special service, and leads the choir with a heart full of love. We are eternally grateful for her service to our church.
Mrs. Ann Merritt is our volunteer pianist. Ann has been playing piano for church since she was in high school. She majored in piano at Montreat College, and minored in music at Erskine college. She has served churches for over thirty years and taught piano for more than thirty years as well. We are blessed with the talent that Ann brings to us each week!
Many weeks during our worship services, we are blessed with additional musicians! Mrs. Trish McCoy plays flute and Mr. Steve Moore plays violin. Both have a love and passion for music and share their God-given talents with our church family. Their added instrumentation brings a pleasant sense of peace to our hymns, preludes, and musical offerings. We are grateful to both of them for their service and leadership each week!
